Connecting GoodWe Inverter to Wi-Fi Network

At Solar Pro Bendigo, we always connect your inverter to the internet as part of your installation, but sometimes you’ll need to do this yourself as well.

For example, if you change your home Wi-Fi password or your internet provider, you’ll need to follow this guide to re-connect your inverter to the internet.

First of all – it’s important to note that just because your SEMS portal app shows ‘offline’, this doesn’t mean that it’s not working at all. It simply means it’s no longer connected to the internet.

The lights on the inverter can be scary as well but it’s important again to note:

Flashing Yellow = Not connected to Wi-Fi (inverter likely still operational)

Green Light = Inverter operational

Solid Yellow = you’re back online

With that aside, let’s get into it!

The video below walks through how to reconnect your inverter to your Wi-Fi
