Solar with Batteries

In a hybrid solar system, the photovoltaic panels generate high voltage DC power which is fed through an inverter to be converted to 240V AC power.

The system senses when there is excess power and automatically redirects it to recharge a bank of batteries located on your property. When the batteries are full, the excess power is sold back to your energy company.
At night, when the solar cells are not producing power your electricity is supplied by the batteries.

If you run out of stored electricity or there is a fault, the system will draw the extra power required from the electrical grid. The power company charges the usual rate for the electricity you use.

With the intelligence to understand your business or household power needs, our hybrid solar units can help you manage appliances such as air conditioners, lighting and pool pumps, giving you the ability to run them at off peak times to save time and energy.

With good planning, you can put yourself in a position of only using the power grid for cases of extreme high energy use, breakage or periods with very limited sunlight.

The hybrid option is becoming more and more accessible and affordable with the onset of new storage technology, including the popular Tesla Battery.
